The State-run Changjiang Marine Machinery Plant (State-run Factory No.463)，established in 1956,is a professional factory designated by former CSSC to produce seriated accessory parts for diesel engines and pneumatic clutches.

The factory，with an  area of 54,000 square meters, has the comprehensiue production capabilities of ferrous and non-ferrous metal casting ,forging, heat treatment, surface treatment, cold chiseling, electric welding and maching etc. With perfact measuring and testing methods, the factory has got the“National Grade-2Measurement Qualified Enterprise”and the “Grade-3Measurement Organisation for National Defence Industry”certificates.

The main products are φ160mm-φ520mm in diameter seriated aluminium alloy pistons. alloy cast-iron cylinder liners for diesel engines,11200Nm-7100 Nm in torque pneumatic clutches,4¹/₂″–13 ³/₈″in size round-thread、buttress-thread oilfield casing couplings.

The factory is one of the state-appointed draftmen in working out National Industrial Standards of ZBU004-89,ZBU005-89“Specification of Grey Iron Castings of Centrifugal Cast Cylinder Liners for Heavy and Medium Duty Diesel Engines”and GB10100-88“Marine pneumatic Clutches”.It is first approved by API and authorized to use API Monogram on the couplings,has got ISO9001:2000 quality system certificate, was accepted as “the Factory Model” by CCS and BV, and became the supplier of accessory network of oil industry authorized by China Oil Meterial and Equipment Corporation.

For many times in many years, the products and quality management system have won“Excellent Quality Product”Prizes and “Quality Management Achievement”Prizes in Wuhan, Hubei and China.
